Beautiful bike! Good luck with her.... One good piece of advice I can give you is take the MSF course. They honestly do teach you a lot of useful things. Every day I find myself using something taught to me in that class.
Congrats, you're gonna have a lot of fun. Go to the MSF course, download Twist of the Wrist 2 and watch it twice, and you should feel a lot more comfortable on the bike after riding for a week. I also bought an F4i for my first bike this past spring. I put about 5,000 miles on it this summer, and that's with a month of down time for repairs. I'm still riding actually and it's been like 40's here.
congrats, looks like a nice clean bike, give us some more pics! How many miles and how much did you pay for her if you dont mind? Always curious about that stuff. I got an f4i for my first bike 2 summers ago and just sold it a month ago for an rr, i still miss it though. Theyre great bikes and tons of fun. Definitely watch twist of the wrist as mentioned, its one of the best things ive done since getting a bike, very useful.
thanks for the comments guys
i've already taken the msf course and have JUST recently gotten my license. I'll watch that video you guys mentioned.
I paid $2400 for it with 50k miles. It's high on miles, but it was well taken care off by an older gentlemen. It's also a clean title and is pretty much in mint condition (which is the reason i bought her) I'm planning on keeping the bike for some time and i've read that if the bike is maintained properly it should last a great while.
I'll try to get some more pictures up with my friend's dslr camera when he has time so stay tuned guys!
