That does look pretty bad *** if it isn't that much trouble to do I would love to do it. If you don't mind me askin how much $$ did that cost ya? Did you have to change the shockor did it bolt up fine?

I really would consider doing it myself I have actually thought about it even before I got on here. I have always like the rr swingarm. But it depends on how much it would cost me. AndI need to know everything to get.

RE: Finally did the 600RR swingarm swap....
you can use the F4i rear caliper and line, but it needs to be bolted onto the 600rr caliper bracket.....
you need to make spacers for the axle to sit in the swingarm, a spacer to take up the space between the shock links and the kickstand mount..... and an axle spacer for the brake side so that the caliper bracket doesnt touch the rotor....
This is done by most for looks. Some do it for the suspension (part of the reason i did it) the 1000RR is more adjustable then the F4i unit. i havent had the bike through the twisties yet to see how it feels but it rides nice.....some say better then stock, i have yet to test it and im no track junkie rider yet so im not sure i will be able to tell right away.... The hugger is alot more apealing then the F4i one as well lol
