Default Filled Crankcase

Not F4i related but this is the sub-forum I'm comfortable in.

Took my new to me 2004 Big Bear 400 four wsheeler out last Saturday for it's first ride. Everything worked well and I parked it. Did a little cleaning to get some of the older grease/oil off it and haven't done much since. Went out last night and saw a medium puddle. I used brake clean the grease it has smelled like chemicals in the shop for a few days. Come to find out, the puddle was gas.
It's a carb'd machine so I have to find out if the float stuck open and if so did the petcock on/off/reserve valve go bad.
Then do a couple of oil changes in it before taking it out for another ride.

Hopefully this link works, I couldn't upload the video to the site. Apparently after you click the link you have to click on the video itself or you just get a priview.

Starting diggin in ths morning and so far the petcock in the off position does not mean off. It is leaking. It does appear to be the original and the screen on it was only attached in a few spots so if there was debris in the tank I'm sure it got through, nicked the already old seal in the petcock then just made its way through to the carb. Carb will be coming off shortly for a good cleaning and fully expect to find debris in it holding the float open. Carb is new but is something got in it I can't blame the carb itself.

Parts ordered: petcock, 4 oil filters, oil drain plug and lots of oil. I'm going to flush it at least twice, maybe 3 times.
