I just bought a minus one FE from ebay which does not come with a license plate light "mount" to put the light.
I haven't taken anything apart yet, but can i put an LED in place of the stock license plate light?
Will i have to splice wires or is there a connector to just plug into. I'll either have to screw the light
to the kit or just get some 3M tape.

I hope you understand what im trying to ask/do. thanks for the help!!

 

post a picture of what the fender eliminator looks like, if its anything like that one I had than it came with a spot for the license plate light, either way most cops dont give a damn if you dont have a light, they just say their headlights light up the plate anyways.

I havent had a light on my bike for about 2 months now and i have never had a word said about it

Hell, i wouldnt even bother with a light, if anything, cut a little slit in it aiming to the plate and fabricate a mount to hole the light on the inside of the fairing. Thats how mine was made.
