thanks...and you dont even really have to pull the plastic again, just take out one of the bolts/screws. If inside the hole is white then they arent OEM. The OEM plastics are actually black ABS. Aftermarket are usually white, painted ones.

K, I pulled a bolt, scratched and found white plastic under there. So.... ebay fairings? which means I was most likely lied to by the seller. This could be a bad thing I wonder why he really got out from under it? I could be sitting on a time bomb.... I hear ticking.... no joke, I really hear ticking from the motor when I'm in low RPM's.

Or, the original plastics were scratched up, and he found aftermarket fairings for cheaper. Again, stop losing sleep...

Alright, Alright I'm gonna give it a rest. I feel comfortable telling people who ask they're.... aftermarket

However, I'm gettin pretty good with my blank stare.

I dont have any issues with telling people mine are the 'bay specials. I mean my tank was 'custom painted' lol. I would ride the **** out of it..and the ticking could be exhaust leak where the pipes mate together, could be CCTL, valves, anything really. Just ride that ho..
