I'm contemplating on replacing my fairings.

I remember from a while back (probably 2-3 months ago) where they had complete fairing sets on ebay with a tank skin (I think it's a plastic shell in the shape of the tank that goes over your existing tank?), but I can't seem to find those today.

Any one know where I can find them? I'm trying not to have to custom paint my tank to match the fairing.

The kits with tank covers are for the 600RR; the F4i doesn't have a tank cover...

 

That is spot on my friend. I don't know what your current paint scheme is but you can try to find the same scheme so you don't have to repaint the tank.

 

Mine is yellow on black (black tank with yellow decals), which I haven't been able to find. All I can find is black on yellow

Hmmm...thanks for the info though. I'll guess I'll give up on the idea and do with what I already have...which is all that bad, I guess

 

CBRfairings.com has an option to customize the paint scheme (ie: flip the colors) for a few bucks more...

i would stray from the tank covers if i were you. i would rather pay the $150 to get my tank painted. the covers seem to have a weird looking gap where it sits above the gas cap that is pretty noticeable.

just my .02 though.
