Fairing fasteners (plastic screws with base)
Hey Guys,
I'm missing some fairing fasteners for my CBR. These are two-piece fasteners. You insert the base first in the hole then you put in the plastic screw which expands the base and secures the fairing piece in place
Where could I find those?
Thanks guys!!!

Hey, I have those plastic things on the bottom of my fairings and I couldn't get them out, I tried prying them with a flat head a bit but I didn't want to crack anything.
How do you remove those? They are under the tail as well and I couldn't get them to budge..

Man I hate those screws SO MUCH.
They twist half way out like a normal screw which causes the back to close then you grab a flat head and pop them out or just pull them out.
as far as finding new screws I guess your local honda shop could order you some.

You can buy oem screws at either of these two sites. Just pick your year and model and then scroll through the different schematics looking for your screws. Seminole has the better schematics but bikebandit typically has better prices. Both sites just say 600F but that is the F4i.

Gentlemen,
I appreciate all your comments. Jeremy GSU, thank you for the links! I wish someone had it on ebay. Ebay tends to be the best deal place but all I found were the metal fairing screws on there.
I agree with you on difficulty handling these fasteners. Here is how I tackle them: I loosen the screw first so the screw head pops up. Then I pry it out with screw driver like tool but with an angled flat bit to pry things out. Once the screw is out I pry out the plastic base. I hope this helps you.
Thank you again guys!

For what it's worth I took them all off my bike and zip tie them back together now I just cut the zip tie and put another on each time I take off the plastics it works much easier.
