Default Factory Tire Size

What's the factory tire sizes for both the front and rear? What are the implications of getting a different brand tire, specific to PSI ratings. Do you still use the factory recommended pressures?

*For all the search-*****, I did in fact use the search function and of course, was unable to get any relevant information to my question!* :-)

For psi`s the tyre manufacturer will often suggest one for a particular bike but if you use the psi that your runnings now you shouldn`t have a problem.

Front = 120/70 (58W) ZR17 - Cold Tyre Presure Up to 200lb load = 36psi
Rear = 180/55 (73W) ZR 17 - Cold Tyre Presure Up to 200lb load = 42psi

When I bought my bike it had a 190 on the back and it handled like crap, so I got rid of both and went back to factory sizes.
I went for Bridgestone BT-014 Battlax High Performance Sport Radial tyres and there excelent in the wet and dry.

Thanks. I just forgot where I put my factory service manual (which would obviously had the sizes of the factory tires). However, I found a digital PDF copy online and it's the complete manual.

A downloaded manual is what I use too...

If anyone wants it it is in my website in Australia... Get it here
