F4i vs R6
i would think they are very close to the same. i havent ridden an r6 but given the specs they shouldnt be too far apart. i havent personally seen an r6 run in the 10's yet and the f4i does it consistently. could just be the rider though.
r6 is deffinatly faster
I raced my friend with an r6 and i won...
then we switched bikes and i smoked the hell out of him on his own bike, hes just a crappy rider and freaks when he feels the front end come up
some ppl just dont know how to use the rear brake or race a bike for that matter

What year F4i are we talking about because.
CBR600F4i ('01) Quarter Mile. 10.75 @ 127.09
CBR600F4i ('06) Quarter Mile. 11.280 @ 122.1
YZF-R6 ('06) Quarter Mile. 10.738 @ 132.94
I think it has a lot to do with the gearing of the bikes. I know the R6 revs up to about 17k and it's main power seems to be in the higher RPMs.
Got all my numbers for this from:

you also have to know that the SOTP feel isn't always accurate...changes in torque and HP curve will make you 'think' it's faster.
they are almost same...mang...
so if you suck on one you'll suck on the other...like your friend...hahaaha
