But the mods aren't mean, we're just being honest. :P

And kilgore, 155 is too fast on a public road. I did mine on a stretch that could be "monitored. There's no intersections, and any oncoming traffic is visible for the entire stretch. Plus I was out with some friends, and they were up ahead giving me the OK. If I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna be as "safe" as I can.

Chanson, do you ever lift you but off the seat when you're riding like that? and just support yourself with your legs? Just from personal experience, the air flows better around your body, and pushes your back end down a little more.
lol hey just bc there arent cars doesnt means there not curbs

glad ur still around brewski

Without using a GPS or other type of recording system it's impossible to know exactly. Speedo's on every car and bike are notorious for reading too high.

Some have checked by GPS. a 600 tops out about 165mph

A 1k tops out about 176mph

That both being basically stock stick gearing, tho gearing changes would just bring top speed down regardless of which way you went with it.

Default faster than a speeding gsxr!

146 on one lane country roads of johnson county. It was when summer first started. The wind was blowing me hard enough to push me over a lane and thats when I decided it was time to quit jacking around. The bike gets smoother the faster you go. Good luck noobies, this bike is a demon. Don't let the age fool you.

Like I said, thats what the speedo said. Its called speedo error. 14k with stock gearing and tires is 165. There are places in arizona where you can pin it open out in the middle of nowhere for miles and miles. My bike has always run very strong for a F4i, and I only weighed 145lbs at the time.

I also did the top speed on I95 stretch between Savannah and Brunswick. Same kind of thing it takes a minute to get there but I was the slowest at 169mph speedo says while my My buddy on his 954 hit 174 and my other buddy hit 180 on his 1k RR. All where stock speedo's and stock bikes minus mine which had the power commander in it.
