Default f4i speed

ive got an 02 f4i yosh slip on(came w/ it) k&n filter. only mods that it has for speed, not complaining bout the speed but it doesnt seem to be as fast as the 636 or gsxr 600... im not a track racer or even a drag racer butif the bets are right i will drag. question is and ive searched since ive had the bike app 2 yrs now for more things to add for hp. ive seen the hrc kit but cant find where to buy, also been told to do the hrc headgasket but yet again cant find, been told to mil the head, port and polish, add high comp wisco pistons (cant find) other than a power commander and a full exhaust what is there thats readily available? cams? hrc kit? point me in directions please...

p.s. i dont need to be lectured on rider performance i know how to ride been riding for 8 years so... only real answers please

Beyond exhaust, filter, pc3, and sprockets there isn't much you can do to a bike to increase its speed without getting into some serious engine mods/turbos.

If you are going up against another 600 its going to be about who has the bigger *****.

Well first, a slip on is not a "speed" mod. It is a muffler and nothing more. All it changes is the sound your motorcycle makes.

Get a set of headers. Then move and mod the top end. P&P the heads, get a cam, etc.

If you still don't get enough power with those mods, then get a bigger bike.

Best bang for the buck would be to change the chain and sprockets,

-1 +2 is a standard upgrade but you will loose top end.

You make me smile. If you're truly a good rider, you can out-sprint any bike without any mods.

The best place to go if you want all of this stuff done is to find a motorcycle mechanic that can fabricate anything and tell him what you want to do.

But honestly if you want to hustle anyone, get a liter, and put 600 stickers all over it.

well down here weve got true hustlers that ride heavily modded liter bikes and some but few know how to launch so... but the still kill any 600 round. so without further mod advice ive come to the conclusion to turbo the f4i, been searching all morinin i know theres no bolt on kit but i was wondering if anyone knew the right direction to someone thats done it and can share the insite on the build process so i wouldnt have to work out a ton of kinks myself.

oh ya down here you hustle a guy with a 1000+ with 600 stickers on it theyll hunt you down and make your life very miserable
