Hey guys. Im currently buying parts to convert my F3 into an F4i. I have everything except the right side fairing. After searching ebay I have realized that there are 2 kinds of fairings that are slightly different. Just the portion that bolts below the brake pedal is a little different.



you guys see what im talking about? the one on the right has a sharper end.

does it matter which one i buy?

My left side is from a 2004 and i dont know what year my front is from. Will they all bolt up or do i have to follow some sort of year?

 

the one on top may have been cut. I trimmed mine a little because my intermediate pipe was touching it and a buddy of mine had to cut his because he put on a yoshimura full system on his 01. That top one could very well have been trimmed.

 

I have an extra right side fairing its in pretty good shape definetly would need to be re painted though which looks like you are going to do anyway its off and 01 F4i ill get you some pics if your interested

 

the 04-06 fairing is different from what i understand. Bootleg was saying there less clearance on the 04-06 for his motogp style exhaust.

 

how different? will either bolt onto either front?

 

i cant PM you for some reason. the one on ebay is at a "buy it now" of $39 with a $30 shipping. so thats $69. are you sellin cheaper?

if you bought the one on the left, its for the 01-03 and the right is 04+. no difference besides the little point on it.

 

True well I would have gone cheaper for ya but if anyone needs any fairings im getting rid of them all (just ordered a new set of fairings) the right side and rear and the front tire fender? are in good condition just would require a new paint job the front and left fairings are a little roughed up from being layed down would need a little body work but willing to let them go dirt cheap I will send pics on request

 

All mounting holes are the same. As axsys said, the fairing is just a little different at that point near the midpipe.
