I'm not too concerned about the smoke effect, I just like to keep my injectors clean and get any grime out before an oil change.
I could run it through the vacuum line, I suppose, but I've never really been that worried about it. I guess I will have everything disassembled though (I'm cleaning and re-oiling the air filter soon too), and I did just buy a 128 oz jug...

I didn't run it through the vacuum line, but I did spray it into the carbs directly. The result:

i just did the same thing with mine, got a spray bottle and got quick with it, spraying into the 4 intakes, ran a good amount through.
tons of smoke, let it sit up twice, 10 minutes and then ran some more, 20 minutes.
then i took it for a ride and the bike seemed to be running hotter.
im not sure if its me wanting results or not but it seems to run a bit better not being all grumpy coasting along, and by that i mean with just sustaining speed it seems to be jumpy.
i may upload a video of that trip on the road.
