Unless you have unlimited income to buy a new bike every year you won't have the hottest thing out there for very long no matter what bike you have.

bottom line... "hottest new thing" doesn't mean **** if you don't know how to ride. what i was trying to say was that for the money you could spend upgrading parts on your bike to keep up with newer ones you could probably just save it, sell your old bike, and buy a new one. safer choice for me because i bought mine beat up and wrecked because i didn't have a lot of money. instead of fixing every little thing that is wrong and buying better parts im probably just going to sell it and buy something newer. i love her but she's been rode hard and put away wet.

Thats good reasons to buy new. I will buy a new 600RR one day but I will most likely keep my F4 too. But I like making something my own, not just make it keep up with the others. If I keep practicing n honing my skills n I can out ride over half the riders on the road. But yea the reasons you listed are valid, as is just wanting a new bike. The way I took it was the F4/i was old news, put it out to pasture n get a new one lol.

f4i = antique!!!!!!!
ANTIQUE!!!!!!! also, the F4s are like from the 60s. you have to physically crank the motor to start the bike up.
