Can I take the head off an 01 F4i and slap it onto my 06 F4i engine block? I only ask because a Honda dealership said no they wouldn’t do it and stated differences wouldn’t allow it. Now I’m just wondering if it is possible and if not why?

 

Look up the part numbers, if they are the same you can do it, if not, you can’t.

 

and see that’s the thing they are different part numbers but the every diagram I see says 01-06 so what would really make a difference ?

 

What diagrams are you referring to that says 01-06?

 

every parts diagram that shows the blown up pieces of the bike that you then can order. Such as Partzilla, and Babbitts.
