It's in the tank, it's part of the fuel pump assembly. It's a silver/gold looking cylinder with a curved metal tube at the top. I was going to change mine until I found out it was 58 dollars... Also, if you're planning on changing it don't forget to get the new gasket that goes in between the fuel pump base and the tank. It's only good for one use!

I went to the local bike dealership and they ordered one for me. cost me like 45 bucks I think, Im not quite for sure though.

You have to take off the tank and pull the pump out.
Note= You WILL have to replace that rubber gasket seal that has all the holes going around it. It expands and will not seal after you take it off.

So it's a Honda part or maybe the RR fuel filter?

you still need to get rid of the old one mang...but yea...somewhere down the line would be better than INSIDE THE FRICKING TANK! but do you want the crud going through the fuel pump before it's filtered?

Nope, it's in the tank, and the fuel filter is a couple inches from it.
