Default F4i Dyno Run

Managed to get a free dyno run yesterday. The bone stock 05 F4i was 94hp. No torque or A/F readings. I know for a car the printout will give the BHP so adding 10-20% is reasonable for WHP. Is it the same with the bike or does the direct power delivery to the wheel eliminate that?

The readings were measured at the rear wheel so yes it would be 94WHP...Nice....!

BHP is also known as Crank HP or power at the motor. Yours was measured in wheel HP.

General power train loss for a car is 15% for a manual trans and 20% for an auto. Going by what these bikes usually put down at the wheel compared to the crank HP, it seems like 15% is the loss.

I had that backwards in my post. That makes sense. WHP was 94 so BHP is roughly 105-110 with a 15% loss?

Correct. I think it's actually 108, which is close to spec.
