2001-2006 Honda CBR 600 F4i CarbonWorks Carbon Fiber Ram Air Intake Covers

My God those are expensive!!
I'm assuming you want the fake carbon fiber ones?
Just paint them gloss black for a couple bucks, it looks awesome.

I have some one off replacement ones that don't fit that well and one is cracked up from a low side that I will let go really cheap. The CarbonWorks ones are MUCH higher quality but yes, expensive...

I would be a bit afraid to paint them black since (in my experience) you need to bend those alot when you take them on and off.

Im afraid that the paint wil eventually crack...

Maybe you could read that How to: to cover your tank with carbon fiber and see if you can do that your self to these Covers?

If it were me, I'd just go the Di-Noc route (vinyl CF)

+1

I have recently used a lot of this stuff on bikes. Even covered heel guards with it...

If you know what you are doing with the material it looks exactly like real carbon fiber.

Hey Kaz, what did you cover on the bikes?

My tank paint is pretty crappy, so I was thinking about repainting it. Some of that white CF Di-Noc might be just the ticket, though, if VHT refunds my money for the paint.
