Default F4 wheel on a F4i

Will a 2000f4 wheel work on a 2002 f4i? Is there anything that needs to be changed to make it work. Please reply if you know anything about this asap!

Thanks,
Nick

Check the casting number on one of the spokes of both and compare the two. I believe the casting number is on all of their wheels.

To use the F4 wheel on the F4i front end you will need the wheel, rotors, axle and spacers. You might be able to use the axle but you will definitely need the spacers. They are the exact same front end but the F4i wheel is from the 929/954 and the spacers are different as well as the bolt pattern for the rotors.

look at the wheel, if you know the difference those are really f4 wheels actually. F4 spokes are wider and have the line down the middle, compared to f4i spokes that are more rounded and no line down the middle.

I believe all you should need are the axles and spacers from the F4. You might not even need the axles but I would double check that. You already have the rotors and the cush drive, and sprocket carrier, so the hardest part of the swap is finished. Let me look, I might have the axles and spacers you need...I do have them. Send me a PM and we can discuss these parts.
