Default F ing wind

Damn wind just blew my bike over while I am here at work. Had to vent. Pisses me off. Stupid mistakes should have parked it right by the building.

Was it a tornado? Someone must have knocked it over. Wind would be more likely to knock you down before your bike.

Hmm... Bikes are fairly stable on their kickstand. I don't see them going over without a tremendous amount of wind, user error or outside assistance.

By user error I mean if you parked the bike perpendicular on an incline or on soft ground. Then I can see the wind tipping it over. I've also heard stories of bikes going over while covered, with the cover acting lie a sail. But that's stretching too imo.

I'd check if any security cameras are facing where you parked and giving them a looksie.

Is your bike lowered or something were the kickstand makes the bike stand almost straight? I could see it falling over if that was the case, but even then that's iffy. Does anyone at your work have a grudge or jealous?

No grudges. It was a little more upright but I even did a little push test and it seemed ok. There has just been insane gusts of wind today. I should have just not even chanced it and put it right by the building. Learn the hard way.

Also no cameras. I live in Oregon lol

Kid down the street from me had his blown over last year. He parked his bike parallel to the street with the kick stand towards the crown of the road. Wind was gusting around 60 mph that day, I think.
