There's no difference in the pipe except outer sizes. The M5 has bigger dimensions than the M2. The sound difference is in your head.

I think the M5 is too big for our bikes, it was designed more for bikes like the RC-51 and such, bigger bikes. But hey, if you like the way it looks, go nuts. Just offering up some info since I actually owned one.

LOL!! probably...I'm getting tired of my friend loud as bike. I guess it was cool at first but after a while i'm getting sick and tired of hearing that loud as PPPPPPPPPBBBBBBTTTTTTT!!! i think imma get a twobrothers can. time to save some money....
