Default Exhaust system for '02

Hey guys!

I have an idea to upgrade my exhaust system. Want to go with 2Bros M5, but as I discovered 2Bros doesn't make any headers...

What would you suggest in this case? Can you name some brand I should look into? Share your experience!

Thanks!

hey man my knowledge of full exhaust systems for motorcycles is limited but i had the same problem as you and as far as i can tell your best bet is to just go with a manufacturer that sells a complete system because you know all the components compliment one another, also i had a hard time finding any companies that will sell individual components since alot do 4 2 1 systems

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. That piece and slip-on.
I looked into different brands. Akrapovic makes excellent systems, but the slip-on for F4i is ugly.

Thought about LOR slip-on, but then again it would require the headers.

ide highly suggest lor.... um as for headers unless your bike is a race bike your really not getting a TON of hp from getting a full system... idk if you have a power commander or not but you will greatly lean out your bike with a full system..... a brand you can look into if you want a full system is MUZZY makes a good high mount carbon fiber full exhaust.... i bought a 2.5 inch bolt on zx9r bold MUZZY Pipe and custom fabbed a mounting plate and welded it to my mid pipe.... (i love doing custom work on my bike) fit it to my 2.25" F4i exhaust she sounds really good and runs great with my pcIII.... very loud but some of that is due to me going from a 2.25" pipe to a 2.5" muffler... but ya check muzzy out... hindle also makes a good full exhaust but i hope you realize your looking at about a grand for a good full exhaust

Ohh yea, I know that the cost is gonna be high.

I love low mounted pipes. Just a quick example. Another problem is that there are no such pipes for F4is... I'm wondering if I can make up my own, meaning take slip-on designed for different bike. How likely would it work? Dyno would be necessary I guess.

Sorry, I made a typo up there. Meant to say "low" mounted pipes.

And yes, that's what I mean.

OMG, this is it!!! I'd definitely go for that one, although it sounded super loud in the video.
Have you heard it life? My neighborhood is super family oriented, when taking off to school at 7.30am I'll wake all of them up lol
