i have a 2001 cbr600f4i. question is what is a nice sounding slip-on that is not too loud? i looked on two bros website and listened to the clips but it is hard to know how loud it is because you are not there in person and due to computers having a volume ****!!! thanks...

yoshimura pipes are fairly quiet compared to others, or you can get one from a company who supplies a plug/baffle.

I have an identical bike as yours. I have the TBR carbon fiber slip on and I love it. Not too loud, but enough to get noticed.

01600F4i... i got the seat cowl from www.targa-acc.com its really nice and the paint match was perfect and its fiberglass. i had to wait a little while because they were out of stock. i would call them before you order. the only thing is you will not be able to use the helmet lock because of the parts you have to install!!

i just put on a scorpion high pipe on my 05, sounds nice. . not too loud. .only problem was that i beleve that it was made for the 01-03 so the mounting bracket was a little off and i had to drill the tail to mount the peg spacers

Two Brothers' and Yoshimura's are pretty mild. I heard that D&D is the loudest set of pipes on the planet.

After a long and arduous examination of slip on exhaust options I've decided to go with the Yosh. I'm a little concerned that it might be too loud, but from what I've heard I think it's middle-road as far as noise levels go. Ultimately it was between the Yosh RS-3 Race and the Hindle Stealth. The Yosh came in about $50 cheaper than the Hindle. I have a full Yosh on my Suzuki Z400, and it is loud as hell. From what I hear the street exhausts aren't quite as obnoxious as the motox exhausts. This article on Sportrider.com was a huge help. I ended up purchasing from Indysuperbike.com, which offered the best price (by far), good selection, and a helpful/knowledgeable staff.
