Default Electrical Problem

Hello everyone,

I've been havinga bit of a problem with my 01 F4i. I don't know why but for some reason my headlights go out. Everything else seems to be working fine. I'll be driving and they turn off all of a sudden. If I turn the bike off and back on they turn back on. I checked the fuse and its fine. Any other places I can look?

Thanks.

Default RE: Electrical Problem

The starter switch kills the lights during cranking. If the switch is sticky it can cause problems with the lights. I had starting problems because of this. I'd turn the key on but the lights would not come on and there was no juice being sent to the starter when the button was pushed. I opened the switch and used some WD40 on the switch - just a little. No problems since.
