Has anyone ever heard of an ecm going bad after taking the plastics off and letting it sit for a week?

I can understand batteries going bad that way, not ECMs!

 

Thats what I thought. I took the plastics off for paint and now I have no spark. Everything checks out, fuses, relays, stator, IPG, ignition switch, clutch and neutral sensors, bank angle sensor, kickstand switch, and the battery. There seems to be nothing at the ecm though, im stumped and havent ridden in a month. Im going crazy.

 

might try and find someone with the same bike and use their ecm for a test try. never heard of one going bad off the bike, sounds like a missed connection some where.
