Default easycarbon.com undertail

hey whats up anyone buy this undertail for a f4i.. im also wondering on most undertails it doesnt look like theres a way to light up the license plate.. i know i can put a led in facing the plate but i dont wanna do all this work to instal an undertail

I don't know anything about that specific undertail...

...but as for lighting the plate, installing a LED isn't that hard, since the wiring already is there. You just need to drill a small hole for the LED to sit in and solder the LED plus a 25 cent resistor.

If that's still too much work, the other options I've seen available are plate frames that have lights in them, or license plate bolts that actually have tiny bulbs in them that shine onto the plate. I can't say how well they work, since I've never used either. I've just seen them on ebay. Search for "motorcycle plate light" and you'll find some options.

I did the LED install on my custom undertail and I'm really happy with it. It cost less than $5 and took less than 10 minutes to install.

thanks for the info man, i have all winter to play around with the undertail so i probably will just install an led or something
