Default Dynoed my 05 F4i.....

I dynoed my 05 f4i last weekend while @ the stunt show last weekend. I wanted to see what type of base line hp my bike was making I was so upset when I got the dyno sheet back. I put down 93.7 whp in 4th gear, I can't remember what the torque was. My bike is bone stock and I've had it for 2 months now. I just wanted to see what she'll do. Now I'm going to put on my full exhaust system and then dyno again. my goal is 125whp all motor without too much engine work. I know its going to require some engine work but I'm not prepared for extensive modifications to my bike yet.

If there's someone out there that can give me some advice let me know.

My 2002 F4i with 36000 miles on the clock put down 91.8 hp so your reading is pretty good. I have my dyno graph on my website http://www.sportbikerush.net

I just had my '05 dyno'd and it came in at 94.2hp at the RW and 42ft/lbs of torque.

Remember that factory dynos are taken directly from the engine, which is different from the dyno that you had done which is from the rear wheel. Some power is lost due to the fact that the engine is turning the tranny and wheel. It's the same for cars too.

What's the difference between your two recorded runs? Just out of curiosity.

First run was with the crappy map from Dynojet, the second was after the shop custom mapped it. Not only did they give me more power, but what the graph does not show is how much they cleaned up the low end, which the Dynojet map had running very lean...
