dropped my damn bike in the driveway, im pissed. anyways, got lucky i guess, broke the right mirror, cracked the upper fairing bracket and the cowl itself, plus the windscreen.. [:@] dammit! anyways, anyone know a good place to look for the fairing and bracket other than ebay? BTW its a 04 f4i, black/yellow

 

oh yea man, had that happen to me once. kickstand kicked back out on me when i went to set it on it. yea Ebay would have been my first guess on finding replacement parts. good luck, and sorry about the bike

 

yea thats exactly what happend. driveway is a slight hill, kickstand slid back

 

try ron ayers they cannot be beat for fairing prices. someone knocked over my '05 at the movie theater and busted a side plastic. i called the dealer ship and they wanted around $450 for it. called ron ayers and they wanted just under $300 for it.......same part #'s and everthing....

 

Happened to me once too, but luckily I caught the bike. It was close though.

I almost dropped my bike the same way, I put the stand down, started getting off the bike and the stand wasn't down the whole way, I noticed it and quickly saved her. I did drop my bike when I thought I would be cool and light up the back tire in the grass while parking it in my back yard. It was weird because as soon as it went down I pick it up so quick, only damage was grass on the peg.
