Default the dreaded CCTL

AHH man... I think its starting to act up guys.
Is it normal to hear it Just A Little bit between 5 & 6000 rpms? I can start to just hear it getting closer to around 6000. Is this the beginning of a downward spiral??ahah.

question you are talking about your Cam Chain Tensioner lifter....and if so, how can you tell it's going bad. Reason why I am asking is that I may be buying an 03 F4i this weekend w/ 8k miles and wonder if I should try to "listen" to see if it's going bad?

it sounds like bb's are rattling around in the crankcase.

+1 on the APE. haven't had an issue since i installed it, and it's cheap.

APE one is 55 bucks plus 3 bucks for the gasket (you need that too) and shipping, not much if you DIY

OEM one is 60 bucks from bikebandit, but I dont know why you would replace a ****ty product with a new ****ty part
