It is not as bad as some people make it out to be. Stay focused and go your own pace. Slide to the right and let the faster guys go. The main thing is to stay concentrated on what you are doing and not ride past your limits. Wrecks do happen up there frequently but it is because someone lost focus or got over confident. It is the smoothest road I have ever ridden on. No bumps, pot holes, cracks, or uneven pavement. The state takes pride in it.

 

I will be going in april if anyone wants to join. I am going to try to sneak my focus down there to and rip the road apart. The wife doesnt want me to take she is afraid for my car. It is a 02 svt with the all aluminium zetec with a bmw m3 suspension and transmission under it. I love when I go cause my good buddies know but the new ones dont if you hear about someone off the side it isnt me if you hear about someone in the side of the mountain it might be me. Ive figured id rather blast the side then fall down the tree covered hill so if im eatin it im headed for the wall.

dude larry you know that if you go next fall that i will bein. the only reason that i was a little worried about going in the spring because we are going to daytona for bike week and do not think that i will be able to get off for both. but if you are going in the fall, count me in!
