I have a $700 retail Shuberth S1, so I think it's not too shabby of a helmet . On the freeway going 80-90mph, I feel no need to tuck, it even feels like I'm going far too slowly to tuck. The few times I've accelerated past 100mph you might find me tucking, and only then do I take advantage of the windscreen. However I'd hate to spend $60-75 on a DB screen and find out i get more turbulence while in an upright position. It's why I'm thinking the stock model in a black tint might be a safer choice.

ORIGINAL: Blackdog F4i

Or get a touring screen. They are taller than the DB.
I donno about a touring screen, it's a still a sports bike, don't wanna put a huge screen on it that just won't go with the bike. I wouldn't wanna get anything significantly taller than stock.

I'm 6' 4" myself and I have a Puig DB on my f4i.
I don't notice too much buffeting all the way up past 80 mph.
Keep in mind I wear an X-11, which helps
Good luck with your decision!

Humm, well you're also a tall guy. Would you say that buffeting increased or decreased when you installed the DB screen?

i have a zero gravity dark smoke stock replacement. Let me know if you go with the stock look and we may be able to work something out.

I can't say for sure, due to different riding styles, actual torso length, etc (even though we're both 6' 4")
But i've had a great experience with my DB. Although head buffet is not 100% nonexistant, it's very minor.
I've never had any problems, but again i haven't been in HEAVY wind either. Overall my head feels very steady
Even up to high speeds. The only thing that feels weird is a Head check, and due to fluid dynamics that's probably unavoidable.
Good luck in your decision!

i can deal with the wind, even thoe im 6"2.. the stock wind screen cuts almost half of the tac off when im riding normally like at 30-50 mph. so i got the dubble bubble...lol.. ( not because of the wind..) so now its perfect! i always laugh at people that are tucking all the way down on the freeway but if there going a 100 mph + i could understand... for the recored i have a shoei RF-900 <----- haha...
