I know this is slightly off topic, but since there is a lot of posters in this section, I thought I would just give it a shot here versus in the riding gear section or off topic section.

I was just wondering if your bike color and gear matches and what is your combination. The reason why I am asking is because I have a black F4I and I know that when it comes to riding gear, the first thing to worry about is safety. I am about to buy a new leather jacket and I am in-between choosing either a black jacket to match my bike or a silver/white jacket. The reason why I am considering a color different than black, is just so I can be easier seen at night when riding.

What's your thoughts and what is your bike color/gear combo.

My gear matches. But honestly, safety and being seen is more important, and I'd recommend you stick to the idea of a higher-visibility jacket over a "cool" black one!

 

have a yellow and black bike, yellow and black helmet, and a black leather jacket. Even with all the bright *** yellow people still pull out in front of me. Do what makes u happy.

 

Yellow and black bike - red, black, white gear. Whatever looks good to you.

 

I also have a yellow and black bike with yellow black helmet and yellow black leather also have a gray and white mesh for the summer, and i have a yellow and black mesh also but i dont use it the padding is all that good in it. i also believe that unless it is reflective, glowing, and/or has blinking lights people generally not gonna see ya so go with what you like. your best defense is paying attention and watching out for those Paris Hilton wanna be's in their SUV's talking on the cell phone.

I have a red/black/sliver bike. Mypantsare black/red. Myhelmetis black/red. Mykevlarjacket ismostly gray with high vis florcent green accents.

 

I have a red bike, a red graphic Scorpion helmet, a red and black joe rocket jacket. And I have another all black Joe Rocket jacket. If you have a nice loud pipe, they will hear you before they see you.

 

Ive got all black, only because i had all black fairings on my f3 at the time. I should be buying a red black alpinestars spinner jacket, and a scorpion burst red/black helmet(love scorpion sooo comfy). and another jacket the alpine stars textile thats like $160, urban camo.. chicks dig the camo..haha
