Rarely. Always a little clutchwith a 23456 upshift, alot with a 1-2. It is a technique I think every rider should know in case something happens to their clutch lever (fall, crash, aliens), but for day to day riding I use my clutch.

Pretty simple... I do it sometimes when I'm lazy.

Is there anyway to downshift without a clutch?

I clutchless upshift all the time, from 3rd on up. If I am really cranking it, I may skip the clutch from 2-3rd

I've tried a few times, but my bike don't like it I guess. Normally it won't let me, no matter how high I tach.

It can be done 23456 and back down, but then you have to be really lazy not to want to use the clutch. Of course, if you have a problem with the clutch leverthere's no love lost shifting without using the clutch.

This last month or so I gave up using clutch from 2nd gearupwards. It is simple as anything. Just need to ease off the throttle, maybe 500rpms and kick the gear in. It allows faster upshifting and less loss of power between a gear and another. Probably simpler than shifting with a clutch. Here are 2 vids, the first oneshowing shifting with clutch and the second without clutch.
