Do it yourself or pay a wrench to do it
Depends on the amount of money I have.
It's a lot easier to ride my bike to the shop, have them do some work for me, pay a little extra, and ride it home an hour later versus spend 3 hours figuring out what I need to do, not have the right tool, break something, then pay the dealer MORE to replace everything I screwed up.

I'll add that it all depends on how mechanical savvy one is
I've always worked on all my vehicles myself since I was a kid and even worked as a mechanic for many years. Nowa days it depends mostly on what I can afford lol

I try not to use a mechanic or shop unless its absolutely necessary or if they happen to be a friend. Its just way too expensive and I'm fairly good with my hands and somewhat know what I'm doing.
Yeah I'm with most of ya on this one. I can usually figure out how to fix things and I have most the tools to do it, so I try to not take it in to a mechanic if I don't have to, it's much more fun to learn things yourself.
yep like most i will do everything myself.. finding out how to and learning how things work becomes like a drug to me (just ask my wife) i wont stop until its done... although my bike is at an exhaust shop now because i don't have the bending machine to make the connecting pipe i need.. and it is killing me to not be able to do the work myself...
then again i like to do things so i'm not on someone else's time frame on when they get it done... knowledge is power.. power can help you teach someone else..
