I ordered the heel guards a week ago. I finally sat down to paint them. Only difference is I used gloss black. I used spray paint for the black and model car paint for everything else. I was going to go with carbon fiber but I love these!!

Just to clear it up. Those are his.. But mine look like exact replica's except for the gloss black..

Looks very sharp. Its the fine details such as those that make a bike. My be a future mod of mine. Need to finish the 10 I have on the go first though.

 

It definitely looks good, but I still worry about the longevity. My powdercoated heel guards have worn-through spots after about a year and a half.
