Looks good! How did you make the grills, and how did you affix them to the fairings?

Hi Squire....

I had bought those meshes from ebay. WHat did you use to stick them to the fairing?

Thanks
Chris

I did not lower the front, but the rear was up on a stand, so that does make it look like it is pitched forward.

So I went to Autozone and bought a diamond cut grill insert for a car for $29.99, although in retrospect I could have gone to Home Depot and gotten gutter screen for less money. I then cut it into pieces with small snips, and pushed it into the hole and molded and conformed it to the shape of the opening, and then snipped all extra material from it so that there was a 1/2
overlap all the way around. Then I glued it in place with gasket maker. I think it was "Right Stuff". It's oil and heat resistant to 450F, and it like silicone in a way, in that you could peel it off if you had to.

I really like the fairing paint job and the decals. The two tones blend well. Did you do that earlier? I been wanting to paint my side fairings all black and slap on some decals to get the same effect... and i thought it was a pretty good original idea!

I just removed the red Honda decales from the lower fairings and then put the grills and some stickers on it.
