Default Delkevic 14" DL10 carbon fiber exhaust

Just ordered one of these new Delkevic 14" carbon fiber round slash cut silencers. It's similar to the 8" mini but just longer and has a removable baffle and of course should be quieter. It was kinda pricey compared to the 14" without the slash cut opening but I really liked the look of the slash cut opening. I've been running with the stock exhaust and I'm tired of sounding like a sewing machine. Pretty excited, I'll update the post with pics after it arrives.

I love my Delkevic... Its the shorty, of course. I just wish it tucked up closer to the tail instead of hanging so low.

I'd like to hear what you think of the longer one.

I guess maybe a high mount pipe would bring it closer to the tail. I have a buddy with a VFR, he just fit a Delkevic can onto his TBR high mount mid pipe.

I actually prefer the look of the shorty pipe you have but I live in a quiet neighborhood and I didn't want to **** off my neighbors.

Yeah, mine will definitely wake you up. Sounds good though. I just think it looks cleaner and more tidy and sleek when it follows the tail up. I'd like to hear the difference with a high mount mid and also between the shorty and longer silencer.

I'm planning on using the mid pipe that Delkevic sends me so I won't have the high mount. I don't think having a high mount would effect the sound much though, I believe it's primarily used for ground clearance for higher lean angle.

I'll try to post a video after it's installed.

As for the sound, I'm running it without the baffle. It's got a much deeper voice especially during idle. I can hear the low resonance inside my home, sounds pretty cool, I'm sure my neighbors are loving it too .

I'm running mine without the baffle as well, but I'm sure yours is deeper than mine. It does sound good at idle, nice grumble too it for a sport bike.

You'll have to put up a clip of how it sounds man!
