Default Dealerships

Howdy!

Quick question for the wise. I'm looking at picking up an '06 F4i from a dealership. Having bought many cars in my day, I wanna know if I can expect to haggle with these guys over the price, or is it pretty much the sticker price, and that's it. If I could knock a few hundred off, I'd like to at least be able to attempt it.

Thanks

definitely haggle. oh i see you're from st louis. we're pretty close. anyway, there's a place in tn that has hands down the best prices OUT THE DOOR for this region. that's where most people around here buy bikes even though it's 2 hrs away. check out abernathycycles.com.

Wow. $72xx is a pretty big knockoff from the MSRP. I'm glad I checked here, before going to the dealership. I printed off the page from Abernathy's, and I'll show it to the sales gomer to see what he says. I don't see any reason why he couldn't at least come down to $7,300 or so.

that's exactly what i did too... print it out and bring it to the local stealership. they were like "sorry but we can't come close to that blah blah blah..." so i was like okay i'll just make a little drive and save myself a grand hopefully you'll have better luck with the ones in your area. if not, make the drive!

Well, "The Yellow Shark" is now a reality. I was able to get them down to $7,700.00, and I went with it.

Sounds like a good price. I was just under $8k with tags and taxes for my 06 F4i. Enjoy the bike.
