Hi folks,

My S3 Datatool is driving me up the wall, by producing VERY loud beeps everytime it arms or when I disarm it before starting the bike. I read in the manual, that in order to program it to arm / disarm silently, I should "ground the white wire". I'm fairly new to bikes and never done any proper mechanical work before, but I have managed to find a thin white wire coming out of the alarm box (along with other differently coloured wires) which is not attached to anything on the bike. Is this the one? Also how do I "ground" it - do I just attach it to the frame, or to the negative on the battery? Very tempted to do something, as it is driving me crazy and ruining the whole experience, but on the other hand I dont want to mess up the alarm.... HELP please, anyone?

 

I doubt many people will know, not much point in putting an alarm on a motorcycle.
