Alot of Stunters do this, so they can do High-chairs and stuff. head over to the stunters corner or to stuntlife. i'm sure there are many tips or tricks. i don;t see a reason besides looks.

It depends on how you ride and if you ever take you bike on the highway. Believe it or not, the windshield does provide some blockage while riding on the highway. I removed mine and got a double bubble to help take the edge on highway riding. If you never go on the highway or interstate, take it off. Its your bike do what makes you happy

I saw it, not too bad looking. Maybe you might want to take some 220 sandpaper and smooth out the edges?

well just went for it on my own, taped it up where i wanted it cut, busted out my dremel with a cutting blade and went to town with it! sanded the edges down a little and turned out awsome! looks so much better now!

Yeah, tape is the key here. And sand it while the tape is still on, too. Tape comes off last.
I've seen this done a few times on cruiser windshields (and did it when replacing the shield in my dad's boat), but I never had a reason to cut my CBR screen.
