After reading the write up posted by sick97SS I couldn't wait to get this done. Had been looking into it and even contemplated paying some dude on craigslist out here that will do it for $40

Here is the Before.

And the After.

It was all in all pretty easy and straight forward, following the how to. It took me about 4 hours start to finish and I was drinking beers and BSing with my buddy. With the shorter can length the pipe is solid enough to allow me to remove my rear pegs completely, which cleans up the back end a huge plus for me. At Idle it's pretty tame still but as you work through the RPM range it get meaner and meaner. I love the sound it's not annoying or obnoxious it's just right.

What do you guys think?

That looks awesome. A little to short for my liking but still looks great. I'll post pics of mine when I get it done.

Semi random question, but what tools do you need? Especially to get those rivets back on?

Well you drill out the old rivets and put new rivets in with a rivet gun. I think they are pretty cheap.

Should be less than $20 altogether. Unless you don't own a drill.

I picked up a cheap rivet gun from Harbor Freight http://www.harborfreight.com/hand-ri...set-38353.html

They also sell a kit that comes with the rivets for about the same price. Other then that hacksaw and a drill will do it.
