Default Crashing sucks!

I drained and refilled my radiator last night so I just wanted to go for a quick ride tonight to get the bike up to temp and get all the air bubbles out of the motor.

I was making a right turn from a dead stop and Cold take-offs + a decent lean angle + A little too much throttle = ugly bike.

I wasn't even trying to get on it, just rolled the trottle on a little to pull out into traffic and it was like being on ice with that back tire. Fortunately traffic was able to stop and I was to pick the bike up and get it out of the way.

Damage:
Right mirror
Right Lever
Scuffed the upper pretty well and cracked the paint
Some decent rash on the lower - cracked around the hole for the slider
Just a little rash on the right side of the tail.
My new Jardine pipe has some good rash on it which really pisses me off since I just put that on yesterday.
My Pride

Pictures:

The rear tire...can you tell what happened?

New pipe:

Upper:

Frame slider did its job:

Yeah, I'm going to call the guy that painted it tomorrow and see what he can do for me. I'm a little worried about matching the paint, but it'll probably be alright.

The sliders were pretty much normal length, I think 3" or so. Definately saved some damage for me.

The pride took a big shot on that one. I've always considered myself a safe rider and never the one to pop wheelies and that sort of crap, but I guess **** happens to all of us sometimes.

Tire looks fine... cold road + cold tire + heavy angle + throttle = back end kickin out. I've been there, just last week actually pullin out of my driveway. Got heavy on the throttle, leaned pretty hard, back end kicked WAY out... I was able to quickly adjust my balance, hold her straight, ride out a couple tank slaps and was alright. Happens to the best of us man...
