cowl sticker

Default cowl sticker

has anyone removed the 600F4i stickers on thier rear cowl. i'm thinkin i'm gonna do this on my 06' blue/black. i wanna clean up the tailsection. what do you guys think? thanks

Get them warm ( not hot ) with a hair dryer then peal them off. Or put them in the sun on a hot day. WD 40 will take off any sticky stuff. Dont try the ones on the tank they are under the clear coat

Just pick up a targe cowl for it. Cleans it up nicely.

Kinda off topic but how do you guys keep your kickstands and the plastics behind the kickstands so clean? Mine is ALWAYS dirty full of small pebbles and grease and dirt and ugly. =( I use the honda pro white graphite chain lube maybe thats just crappy and flings all over it? It says no fling formula and was the most expensive stuff they had at the shop.

Even with Maxima Chain wax I get some fling right by the kickstand. Unless you keep your chain dry or putt agound at 20mph I don't think there is anything you can do.

The easiest thing it to wipe it off before you take pics.
