Corbin seat question...??
Hello,
Does anyone know if Corbin seats are actually built to a persons specifics like weight ect... I'm curious because I want to know if getting a slightly used one would be a complete waste of money if they are truely "custom built". Any info from former or current Cobin's owners regarding this would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
-John

I have a Corbin, bought used off Ebay... couldn't be happier. Chris has a Sargent, bought the same way, and is just as pleased with it.
As far as I know, Corbin's aren't typically made to the specifics of the rider, but just the bike. Sargent, however, can make custom seats for the rider.

When you order a Corbin seat they ask you these questions:
Height =
Weight =
Inseam =
MAKE =
MODEL =
YEAR =
And it takes a while because they custom make them. Although, I've never heard of anyone buying a used Corbin and having problems.

I have a Corbin I bought used on eBay.
It's not custom to me, but it is really comfortable and I am totally happy with it.
Customer Service rocks too. When I bought mine it was missing one of the rubber "bumpers" on the bottom. I eMailed Corbin. They told me I could send it in and they would repair it or they could send me the part. NO CHARGE. Since the bumper just pop-rivets on I had them send it to me and I fixed it. Still awsome service especially since I was not the original purchaser.

I've got a Corbin seats (2 of them, actually. Passenger seat is also Corbin) that is not custom for me.
It's quite comfortable, and after getting used to it, I'm soooo glad I have it.
