Competion Werkes fender eliminator kit
Has anybody ever installed one of these on? If so, how difficult and how much cutting is involved? Are there less expensive alternatives out there that doesnt require cutting? Thanks in advance!

If you're going to invest the money in purchasing a FE kit, I highly recommend the CompetitionWerkes FE Kit.
I have the CompetitionWerkes FE on my split-seat. Its very nice high quality & installs exactly as its supposed to w/ no surprises. Its a very solid FE that includes the license-plate & rear signal brackets. The license-plate bracket is easily removable for trackdays. Also, the kit relocates the factory license-plate light for reuse w/ the kit. The signal brackets that came w/ my kit were for the factory OEM signals. I called CW & ordered the smaller brackets for small LED signals (although you could easily make your own). Their customer service was professional & the new brackets were shipped promptly & work prefectly. The cutting of the battery tray isn't rocket-science. Simply cut back to where the directions show & you're ready to install the FE. Hope this helps. |
