Clutch Noise???
So I noticed this a little last year, but it's getting louder........clutch is making noise
Like when you pull it in/engage the clutch, it's quiet
But when it's not engaged (at a stop light), it makes a little noise
The best comparison to make it to isa bad throw out bearing on a car with a manual transmission.....that kind of noise
I don't think you'd really call it chatter either, but who knows
Any ideas????

How many miles do you have on your ride? Is it like a ticking noise? You might need a new one. I found a clutch kit on Ebay for 129.00 cuz I thought I was gonna need a new one.
I notice it on mine, kinda of a low grumble. pull in the clutch and it goes away. I have been told its common, but would be interested also to hear if it really is an issue.
the honda dealership guy told me what it was but i forgot.
mine made the same noise when i bought it...i remember he said that all hondas including his and all the other staff that had hondas there made the same noise.
its an easy fix but i wouldn't worry about it.
..ofcourse thats assuming that we are talking about the same thing(i only heard it when i pulled in the clutch)

i have three buddies that have f4i's including me and all of ours make the noise. It's not very loud and u have to listen for it but i'm sure its no big deal. one of my buddies is an 06 w/ 2000 miles and it does it.
