Default Clutch Cover Installation - Help

Hello fellow F4i owners. I am attempting to install an OEM clutch cover on my 01 F4i. I ma having difficulty getting the clutch arm to "hook" to the lifter pin. I am turning as the service manual says, but I can't seem to get it to connect, or if it seem like I do, I can only get the top of the arm where the cable connects to face the left side of the bike. Does anyone have any suggestions to make this easier?

Thanks in advance....

Its a pain, I just wiggle/play with it until it goes on right. I suggest smoking some ganja to calm your nerves as it upsets you lol.

+1 (minus the ganja part lol). It is a pain but keep turning and playing around with the piece that the clutch cable fits onto. There is no secret as far as i know. It will not fit into place wrong, at least not without a gap. The worst is when you have the sealant already on the piece. It can get everywhere..
