Default Chain adjustment ?

I am a Newbie here and just got a 02 F4i. The chain seems to have quite a bit of slack in it.What tools will i need to tighten it? Any advice or tips on this task is appreciated.

The bike tool kit will have everything you need. Loosen the axle first........then use the bolts and lock nuts to move the rear tire back. Turn each side the same amount. Start small. 1/4 turns. A little goes a long way. Do NOT run it TOO tight. It's better to err on the loose side. A tight chain will bind under a load and put stress on everything.....

Don't even need the bike tool kit or whatever, all you need is a 27, 22, and 8mm socket. use the 27 and 22 to loosen the axle, and use the 8mm to tighten the axle mover/adjuster thingy all the way in, and evenly undo each adjuster until the proper chain slack is reached.
