Default CBRF4i for me?

Hey, I've got my bike search narrowed down to an '06 YZF 600R or a '06 CBRF4i. I like the newer technology and the FI on the honda ALOT, but can't decide which would suit me better as a 6'4 individual. Which do you guys think would be best for me, and can you compare the two bikes (I know this is a Honda forum and might be biased towards the CBR :P). Thanks in advance!

Yeah, go with the F4i. I'm 6-2" and I'm comfortable on it. That and the yzf 600r is really dated, even for a brand new bike. Still a really nice bike, but the Honda is much more advanced.

I've ridden both bikes. The 600r yam is more comfortable, better seat, higher bars, more wind protection from a larger fairing, overall a better road bike especially on longer trips. It also gets much better gas mileage and doesn't dump engine heat on you. The F4i is lighter by 50 lbs.,a little faster, and a bit more modern looking. The fit and finish on the honda and it's promise of long life are the main reasons I ride an 06 F4i. Helibars, a sheepskin seat pad and some mirror extenders make it a good road bike.

Hmmmm... good luck. Not a good starter machine, but it's your decision. Get your MSF in before you take the dive.

Ya i've heard all the preaching on the forums and am accepting the "risk". And I already took the MSF and have my license.
