Hi John24ssj

I have a 2002 one as well that I find quite nervous going slow. Feels very cold blooded. However if I just sit and rev it, it does not miss a beat. Think my chain might be a bit tight.

Let us know when you solve the problem. I for one would be very interested.

It was spark plugs. They changed them out added new iridium ones and bike is like new :DDDD

OK good to hear. Sometimes its the simple things. Still think mine is a chain problem though.

However I am going to change my set up soon. Its not stock by the look of it. I have 16t up front and 45 rear.

Going to up the rear to 47 or 48. Bit more bottom end pull

That means you'll need go through gears quicker as well?

Yes but not to much. that will be only slightly higher then stock. I tend not to use 1st gear that much.
I find the engine braking changing up to second a pain in the a**.

1st to second works if you give it a handfull off the lights, but for normal pull away I prefer using second.
